Nanaimo Disability Resource Center offers four programs which are lifelines and help individuals overcome barriers related to physical and mental health, and they provide critical financial support to those living on low incomes. Many of the people we serve have nowhere else to turn.

Community Outreach
Nanaimo Disability Resource Center

  • NDRC is an important community resource for seniors and those with disabilities. We regularly host tables at community events throughout the year to education citizens on our services. Volunteers would set up and take down the table with the posters and brochures. They would answer any questions and promote NDRC.

Marketing

  • Are you a social media maven? Do you enjoy writing and research? NDRC is building a robust marketing program which includes social media, website, brochures and a newsletter. Volunteers will collaborate with the Executive Director to raise the profile of NDRC in the community.
